My granddaughter will be heading off to college in the Fall and I'm prepping some cards to send to herwhile she is away. She will be attending school is Atlanta and will be so far from home.  Her birthday is in November and this will be a perfect card to send her to remind her how much we love her and are so proud of her.

Scrap Our Stash March What's My Challenge

We have a fantastic challenge this month at Scrap Our Stash.  I had the perfect collection (Fancy Pants Joy Parade) in my stash which not only included all the colors, it included a pattern paper with balloons!!  The stash I used from my collection was chipboard.  The balloons and cotton candy cart are from Crate Paper, the word cake is from Dear Lizzy and I'm not sure where the word sweet came from.

Sketch N Scrap March 1st Sketch

We have a beautiful sketch for you at Sketch N Scrap today.  I love the layers used on this sketch and added a few more layers to mat my photo of hubby and me on Valentine's Day at our favorite restaurant, Seasons 52.  I used mostly Carta Bella Hello Sweetheart and the chipboard pieces are from Simple Stories.

Scrap Our Stash February Sketch Challenge

This month's sketch is another fabulous one.  The twist for February is to use polka dot paper and washi tape.  I dug through my stash and found some beautiful Scenic Route paper that worked so well with our granddaughter's Junior Prom dress. I even found some polka dot washi!  We took lots of pre-prom photos and these three photos my hubby and I posed with Paige.  So much fun!!

Sketch N Scrap February 20th Card Sketch

This is a perfect sketch to make a love card for your significant other - in my case, my sweet hubby.  He's had some health issues recently and I try to tell him how much I love him every chance I get.  I know he will love this card (because he loves all the cards I make for him).
