December Team 1 - assignment was to use this fabulous sketch by Brenda Ragsdale. Paige wanted a golf cart for Christmas last year but was thrilled with the cart Santa brought her instead. She showed off her favorite gift to Mom Mom and Pop Pop on Christmas morning, 2014.

Sweet Friends
This layout was for the November Mood Board Challenge at ACOT. Lots of layers and misting/mixed media along with enamel dots. My granddaughter, Paige and her BFF, Jill at Avalon NJ this past summer.
A Cherry on Top - Becky Fleck Sketch Challenge
The Becky Fleck Sketch Challenges are always so much fun at ACOT. You have a chance to win 1,000 point to the store and you get 100 point just for participating. These photos are my granddaughter, Emma at a bike race where she took first place. I used all My Mind's Eye.

Hip Kit Club Sketch
I had so much fun with this sketch using lots of various washi tape and the fabulous leaf cut files from The Cut Shoppe. I also used this as my submission for the October What's on TV Challenge on A Cherry On Top. The show was "Dark Shadows" and the challenge was to use a photo showing someone's shadow (ME!).

My First Reveal at Sketches in Thyme
I'm so excited that my first reveal is today at Sketches in Thyme. I loved this sketch and knew I wanted to use this photo of Emma with her parents Stacie and Werner. Emma won her bike race this day and I was so happy to be there to watch her win!

Sketches in Thyme - October Week 2
A little late in getting to this sketch but it was a fun sketch that I couldn't resist. These photos are from several years ago - my daughter, Andrea and her nieces (and my granddaughters) Emma and Paige. I used an older collection from Simple Stories "Sweater Weather".
Every Summer Has a Story
Paige cracked me up when she went back down to the beach after lunch and put her bikini bottoms on inside out. She thought it was hilarious too and didn't mind that I took pictures that she KNEW would end up on a scrapbook page. I love her sense of humor and the fact she knows she can look back on these days and remember the good times!

ACOT Becky Fleck Sketch Challenge #104
This was my submission for the sketch challenge. I wanted to add a little more details AND get a straighter photo but I ran out of time (the story of my life) but it turned out to be a fun layout featuring my granddaughter, Paige and her BFF, Jill in Avalon NJ this past summer. Used mostly Fancy Pants awesome summer collections.

I am now part of the Sketches in Thyme Design Team
I am so excited and honored to be a Maven! The team I will be assigned to will be announced later today and I can't wait to see what talented ladies I will be working with.
If my back wasn't hurting today, I'd be jumping up and down doing the Happy Dance!

I used another fabulous sketch from Sketches in Thyme for this layout. This is also for the ACOT October Title Challenge which was to include some type of weather/precipitation. I took this picture of my driveway this morning to show how wet it is from all the rain we've had the past couple of days.
I used lots of Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine accents, Echo Park dies for the clouds and a rain drop stencil with Ranger Fades Jeans Distressed Ink.
I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

Way Too Long
I can't believe it has been so long since I posted to my blog. Life sometimes gets in the way but I HAVE continued to be creative. Last month (August) I was the Guest Designer on A Cherry On Top. I created five challenges for the Cherries to participate in.
The first challenge was to create a layout featuring WATER.
The second challenge was to create a layout about an OUTDOOR ACTIVITY.
The third challenge was to create a layout about a GUILTY PLEASURE.

The third challenge was to create a layout about a GUILTY PLEASURE.
The fourth challenge was to create a layout featuring a LOVED ONE and a bonus entry if the layout included a photo of you.
The fifth challenge was to use the sketch I provided. I chose a SKETCH from Scrap Our Stash by Brenda Ragsdale.
I was thrilled by the turnout and how many Cherries participated in my challenges.
