This month's sketches were so fun to work with. From the left sketch I used the top patterned paper and the viewfinder. From the right sketch I used the shape and photos placement. And I found some button hearts in my stash, too! I hope you come join us at Scrap Our Stash.
The challenge at Use Your Stuff is to do a project about friendship. Most people may think of humans having friendships, but I chose to do this layout about my daughter's two dogs, Willie and Dolly who are both rescue dogs. They got Willie a few years ago and when they decided to get another pup, we were all surprised since Willie didn't get along very well with other dogs. But when they brought Dolly home, he immediately fell in love with his new best friend. They are inseparable.
Welcome to September's Scrap Our Stash Golden Globes Challenge. This month the Challenge is Amazon's Original Series "Transparent". The challenge is to create a GRID layout and to use a transparency or vellum on your page. My granddaughter, Emma just received a new bike from Vonhof Cycles all built up and ready for the fall season.
I hope you join us for a chance to win this month's fabulous prize.
We have another fabulous sketch this week by the talented Brenshevia. This is my take on the sketch featuring our granddaughter, Paige. I hope you join us at Sketches in Thyme for a chance to win this month's prize.
This week at Use Your Stuff we have a brand new challenge for you. With summer coming to a close, it's time to think about back to school projects. For my layout, I created a layout about our grandson, Jace on his first day of his senior year. It's hard to believe he will be graduating from high school this year. I used a very old Basic Grey collection called Recess.
