Got Sketch 103 - Sketch #1

I am so far behind in this "class" but I'm still having a great time. The sketches are awsome and the tips have been very helpful. I never signed up for Got Sketch 101 or 102 but after this session is over I'm going to sign up and hopefully will be caught up on all three sessions before Got Sketch 104 starts! This layout is from our trip to Tulsa to visit our grandson, Jace and to celebrate his 8th birthday. What a great kid he is! I just wish we could see him more often and spend more time with him.

Got Sketch? 103 Sketch Challenge

Although the class officially starts on Monday, there was a sketch challenge posted and I was able to finish mine. I love the sketches on Got Sketch? and I'm so glad that I finally decided to take one of Valerie and Janna's classes.

Simply Obsessed Crop

I participated in a weekend on-line crop at Simply Obsessed. I got seven layouts done which may be a new record for me. There were so many great challenges and I was only disappointed that I didn't get to complete more!

Finally Finished a Couple of Layouts

Back in October Ed and and I met Stacie, Werner and Emma for a quick bite to eat. Ed, Stacie and Werner stayed in the restaurant while Emma and I went outside and she posed for some photos.

It was such a beautiful autumn day and my only regret is that the battery in my camera died before I had a chance to take more photos!

Finally did some scrapping!

I know we've just finished celebrating Christmas and New Years but I did a layout today using pictures of Emma and Paige from Thanksgiving. I love these photos of our two beautiful granddaughters!

Long Time No Blog

I know it's been so long since I've adding anything to our blog but it's been super busy at work. I haven't even had much time to do any scrapbooking. But I did go to a Black Friday Crop with my friends Patti and Mindy and met some new ladies, Dawn and Trish. Here are a few of the layouts I did at the crop.

Andrea babysat Emma last night so Stacie and Werner could go to the Oasis concert and stay in the city. Since Andrea only has a double bed in her apartment, I suggested they come to our house and spend the night. It was great seeing them both and making them Mom Mom's Eggs for breakfast this morning. Emma ate her bacon and hash browns and hadn't touched her eggs. I was worried that she no longer liked them and when I asked her if she was going to eat any eggs, she replied "I'm saving the best for last" and ended up eating every bite!

And can you believe it is only five days until Christmas? We are hosting Christmas again this year and I can't wait for all the excitment! We have a new member of our extended family this year. Patti and Todd (my ex-hubby's stepdaughter and her hubby) have a new baby named Peyton. I remember last Christmas when they announced there would be a new member of our family next Christmas! I feel so blessed that we all get along so well and that we are "FAMILY"!
