I always love The ScrapRoom sketches and this month's sketch is from one of my favorite designers, Lisa Hidy. This is my take on the sketch using photos taken last week at the Scrapbook Expo in Edison NJ. I met up with some friends I've met on-line at A Cherry on Top.We had fun chatting and of course SHOPPING!! But for this layout, I didn't use any of my new goodies. Instead I dug out an older Fancy Pants Designs collection called Millie & June.

Welcome scrappy friends to another Blend a Sketch at Scrap Our Stash. This month's sketches were so much fun to blend. I used the paper/washi strips from Sketch #1. Then I used the photos and title from Sketch #2. I think they came together quite nicely!
You have until
August 29th, 11:59 PM (PST) to play along for a chance
to win this month's prize.

Use Your Stuff - Challenge #326- Mood Board
This week at Use Your Stuff we have this gorgeous Mood Board to share. I was inspired by the yellow sun burst and touches of pink. And of course I had to add a pink flamingo! This is my daughter (the blond in front) and her friends who enjoyed a recent weekend at Dewey Beach, Delaware.
Sketch N Scrap - Card Sketch #128
Welcome to another card sketch by Lisa Hidy! I used some papers from my stash and die cuts from the Jen Hadfield Home-Made Collection. I love that little mug with the word friends in gold. I hope you come join us at Sketch N Scrap for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

Scrap Our Stash - August Golden Globes Challenge
I'm excited to be back again with my second Golden Globes Challenge at Scrap Our Stash
This month the challenge is to create a new layout inspired by the movie Thelma & Louise and to use the word "Friend" somewhere on your layout. I chose to use a photo of my granddaughter, Paige and her BFF, Jill. They both moved into their small neighborhood in early grade school and now they are in high school and still inseparable.
I hope you come join us for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

Use Your Stuff Challenge #324 - Triangles
This weeks challenge at Use Your Stuff is to use triangles on your project. I used lots of older Amy Tangerine on my layout about my granddaughter, Emma stopping to pet a horse while practicing for her bike race. She is such an animal lover!

Sketches in Thyme Sketch #335
Hello and welcome to a new sketch designed by Sketch DT Jenessa at Sketches in Thyme
This is my take on the sketch featuring a photo of me and my hubby soon after we checked into our hotel on our recent trip to Nashville. It was a long drive and we both desperately needed a cocktail!

Sketch N Scrap - Sketch #158
Welcome to August and another fabulous sketch designed by the very talented Lisa Hidy! I loved this sketch and knew I had the perfect photos of my stepson, his girlfriend and her youngest daughter. They spent the day at a petting zoo and I can almost hear the animals shouting "Feed Me". I'm still trying to use up old stash (to of course make room for new stash) and I used Fancy Pants Attwell for this layout.
