December 2016 Sketches in Thyme

My reveal was December 4th using the fabulous sketch from Cherie Averill.  I used lots of Project Life Cards from the June 2016 Hip Kit Club.  The photo is from Emma's Middle School graduation this past June. I can't believe my granddaughter is now a freshman in high school

November/December Manufacturer Challenge at A Cherry on Top

I host a monthly challenge on ACOT and because this is such a busy time of year, I have given members two months to complete my challenge.  The letter I chose for these months is the first letter of the member's first name, last name, or their ACOT user name.  Since my first and last name start with C - I have used Crate Paper on my layout.

And what better way than to post my layout for the recent Sketches in Thyme Week 1 November sketch.  I look forward to 2017 when I will have more time to scrap and more time to BLOG!!!

Sketches in Thyme Sketch #183

What a fabulous sketch by Rochelle Spears this week.  I had fun scrapping these photos of my daughter, Andrea with her nieces, Emma and Peyton.  It's hard to tell who is the adult in these photos since Andrea is the one giving the little ones Bunny Ears!  LOL! I used my new Close to my Heart watercolors along with some splatters of Tattered Angels and Mister Huey's and used papers and accents from the September  Hip Kit Club.

The ScrapRoom Blog January Sketch

Oh my gosh, I fell in love with this sketch when I saw it on Facebook.  It worked perfectly with the photos I had of my granddaughter, Emma at one of her bike races.  I also used this for the A Cherry on Top January "What's on TV Challenge" which was to show a picture of the sky in at least one photo.  I used all Simple Stories "I AM" collection.

I had so much fun creating this background using a Tim Holtz stencil and different colored inks. And of course I needed to add some Heidi Swapp shine mist!!
